Thank you to Kyra Holland for this photo of the new concrete vanity we made for her in the beautifully renovated bathroom
Ranui has a new Library servicing one of Auckland 's most deserving communities which also just happen to be our local neighbourhood!. We manufactured and installed the polished concrete stair treads for the internal stair case, a central feature of the interior connecting the ground floor and mezzanine. Designed by Jasmax architects and built by Naylor Love, be sure to check it out if you are in the area
Woolongong city council has invested heavily in an upgrade of the city centre after years of neglect. An integral part of the landscape architecture strategy was supplying bespoke street furniture designed to provide communal areas benefiting the entire community. Terrazzo and Stoneworks successfully tendered for the manufacture and supply of unique cantilevered precast bench seats and tables which were highly engineered to withstand the vigours of public use.
Lobell construction approached us to see if we could help them with the manufacture of these 6 meter complex faceted panels and importantly whether we could deliver within the tight timeframe and on budget for their demanding client. Discarding traditional panel manufacture techniques we utilised the best in 3D computer modelling and CNC machining to create the moulds in a fraction of the normal time at a very high quality. This approach meant we were able to deliver the panels cost effectively, on time over the busy Christmas period
Stretching our imaginations in the way we use concrete. We stumbled on these stunning uses of concrete within fashion. The tactile concrete surfaces are well incorporated into these everyday products with a twist.

In consultation with the American architect Terrazzo + Stoneworks developed a bespoke Terrazzo mix for the Bench tops, vanities, marble baths, floor and wall tiles for this new exclusive Golf Resort in Mangawhai, about one and a half hours north of Auckland on the East Coast. Referencing the local sand dunes for colour and texture the interior closely reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Hand selected Italian marble slabs were imported for the bath surrounds and tiling to complement the interior palette and installed by our expert stonemasons with exquisitely detailed mitre joints and grout lines
We previously uploaded our own images of the Beach Road Project earlier this year, but we just had to share these fantastic professional shots from Mark Scowen of Intense photography to show off how impressive the whole area looks especially at night.

T+S supplied over 5,000m2 of commercial grade Terrazzo tiles which were then honed and polished in situ to create a perfectly flat and even floor. We also laid over 600m2 of our LiquidStone flooring with a customised burnished effect throughout the foodcourt complimented by a beautiful oversize concrete cantilevered leaner bench.
Terrazzo + Stoneworks recently completed the manufacture and installation of these magnificent oversized concrete planters with timber and steel seating along the new Beach Road cycle way in central Auckland.

We are very proud of Terrazzo + Stoneworks heritage and during the past year we have been a part of the restoration of the magnificent St James Theatre. Uniquely Andrew Giacon was the third generation of his family to work on this particular building applying his specialist knowledge and skill with Terrazzo.
This month the St James Theatre will show a film by Devonport film-maker and Historian Margot McRae. The film "showcases stories from the theatre's past and present and celebrates the beauty of the 1928 theatre that was controversially closed for seven years".
The show will be screened inside the Queen St Building and has not been accessible to the public for the past few years.
